Our video library documents the journeys and experiences of all those of our Windrush Generation. Here you can view the stories of others. If you would like to tell your story and are able to provide a short 3-minute selfie video, please submit this to 2nd generation of Barbadians & Friends Birmingham. If your selfie video or recording meets the criteria we will then add this to the video library. Please be aware that this will be made available for the general public to view. If your video or recording does not meet the criteria it will be returned to you with the reason why.
Criteria:
- Maximum of 3 minutes of video or audio recording
- If an audio recording is submitted please submit a photograph of yourself
- Appropriately dressed covering all intimate areas
- No profanity should be used
- Video and audio should be clear
- The video should contain either first or family name and year you arrived
- At the end of your recording, you should state, ‘And I am part of the Windrush Generation’.
